Introduction
I am a life long learner. My formal adult learning activities started a few years after high school. Through the period between 1984 and 2004 I completed one degree, two diplomas, two certifications and three industry designations. I am constantly reading and trying new things. My learning philosophy is to see it done. I believe that when people have mastered something they know it. And by mastering something you do it by second nature. Until that time you are still learning something. And once you have mastered something there is always new levels of mastery as the world is always changing.Completed
Master of Education in Information Technology (2007)I chose this Masters program for four primary reasons; it was based out of St. John's Newfoundland, it was exclusively distance education, it had a strong Information Technology option and the quality of Memorial education is highly regarded.
This program is targeted for Graduate students who are interested in becoming University Faculty. It's primary focus is to teach students to become exceptional university teachers. The program is constructivist in its methods and outcomes. We spend a great deal of time doing and watching those who do very well.
